These standards match Christine’s approach to making jewellery and we are delighted to have a home reflecting that. The Energy Efficiency Award is a personal accolade, since we went to great lengths to build a warm, low energy house.

The house is one of 12 nationwide being considered for House of the Year, the results being due in late November.

Many thanks to those of you who have booked the first 3 tours since then, which have all been a pleasure to conduct.

Clients are happy and have reported an enjoyable, interesting and education filled time, visiting the 5 Home Studios of talented and high calibre Contemporary Artists on Waiheke Island.

To remind you, the WaihekeART Experience’ is a personal service offered to art enthusiasts, buyers and collectors . It runs for around 3- 3.5hrs and includes as a bonus, ‘architectural flare from the modern to the rustic’ and ‘superb views’ – so remind clients to bring their cameras! It is available for 1 to 6 people per day at a fee of $115/person.

Normally the service will start at either 9.30am or 10.30am depending on whether people are staying on the island or day-tripping from the mainland.

I collect and return clients to either the Ferry of their Lodge's.

Please note, my time and driving service outside of the WaihekeART Experience can be arranged. A few clients have already enjoyed wine-tasting and lunch after the ART!

I am grateful for your encouragement of this new venture, catering for ‘an intellectual experience’ involving exposure to some of our best ARTISTS on Waiheke Island.

This show is an opportunity for the public to discover the traditional discipline of figurative life drawing where artists study anatomy, lines, shading, volumes, proportion and perspective and interpret the human form in wonderful ways.
